Established in 2019, the School of Law, Indore, is a constituent school of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) approved by the Bar Council of India. Offering B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) programs, the school is committed to producing legal professionals who excel academically while championing justice, compassion, and integrity.

The School of Law, SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Indore, in collaboration with the School of Law, Kathmandu university, Nepal announces the Second Edition of the International Conference on “The Changing Dimensions of Administration of Criminal Justice in the Contemporary Era”. This conference aims to provide an intellectual platform for academicians, practitioners, researchers, and students to delve into the evolving paradigms of criminal justice systems worldwide.

This conference seeks to explore critical issues such as the intersection of technology and justice, emerging trends in victimology, restorative justice models, cybercrime and data privacy, cross-border criminal law enforcement, and the balance between individual rights and public security. Through engaging discussions, paper presentations, and interactive sessions, the conference aspires to facilitate a rich exchange of ideas, foster
interdisciplinary collaboration, and propose innovative solutions to contemporary challenges in criminal justice. Join us in this scholarly pursuit to shape the future of criminal justice and contribute to building more equitable and efficient systems globally.

About Call for Papers

Papers for presentation at the International Conference are invited from academicians, practitioners, researchers, scholars, and students on the issues related to, but not limited to, the specified themes. The sub-themes are not exhaustive and the researchers are free to write on any topic related to the theme. Authors of selected papers will be allowed to present their papers as per the requirement of the theme during sessions on the days of the conference in offline or online mode.

The administration of criminal justice has long been the cornerstone of societal order and individual rights. However, the contemporary era presents unprecedented challenges and opportunities that are reshaping its framework. Formatting Guidelines

• The paper shall be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 line spacing, Justified text, and 1-inch Margins on all sides of an A4 sheet.
• The Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10, 1.0 single line spacing.
• Title of the Submission: Upper-Case, Bold, Font Size 14, Centre-Aligned.
• Headings should follow the given standards:
  • Headings: Upper-Case, Bold, Font Size 12, Left-Aligned.
  • Sub-Headings: Title-Case, Bold, Font Size 12, Left-Aligned.
  • Sub-Sub-Heading: Title-Case, Italics, Font Size 12, Left-Aligned, Italicized.
• Citation Format: Please use footnotes rather than endnotes.
• Footnotes should conform to the Bluebook Citation Format (21st Edition).
• Plagiarism: Plagiarism shall not exceed more than 10%. The paper should not be plagiarized and should be free from grammatical, spelling, and other errors.
• If plagiarism is found to be more than 10%, the paper shall be rejected.
• Originality of Manuscripts: All the contributions should be the original work of the contributors and should not be submitted for publication at any other place.
• AI-Generated Content: Submissions containing AI-generated content will not be considered and shall be a strict ground for rejection.
• Copyright: Upon acceptance of your paper, you hereby transfer, assign, and convey to the organizers of the event, i.e. School of Law, SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute ofManagement Studies, Deemed-to-be University Indore, all copyright and ownership rights in and to the submitted content.
• Timeline: Papers submitted on or before the designated deadline will be considered for review, no late submission will be considered.
• Selection Process: The decision of the Editorial Committee on the acceptance and rejection of the research paper shall be final

Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission:

• The author(s) shall submit an abstract not exceeding 300 words which shall be
  accompanied by keywords.
• Acceptance of abstracts shall be communicated separately via mail. The abstract must be
  accompanied by a cover page stating the following:
  ❖ Title of the Paper,
  ❖ Sub-theme of the paper,
  ❖ Name of the authors,
  ❖ E-mail address of the authors,
  ❖ Contact of Authors and
  ❖ Designations of authors.
• The abstract must be emailed to [email protected]. The abstract must be
  emailed with the subject “Submission of Abstract for SOL II International Conference
  2025” on or before February 25th, 2025, 11:59 pm IST.

Full Paper Submission

• The paper should have a length of 3000 to 6000 words (exclusive of footnotes).
• Co-authorship of a maximum of two authors is allowed.
• A link to the Google Form for the submission of the paper shall be shared after acceptance of the abstract.

Intimation of acceptance of abstract shall be shared within 10 days from the submission of the abstract.
