Career College of Law (CCL) is affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal and recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI), which means its law degrees are approved for legal practice and higher studies in India. The college offers five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (Honours), three-year LL.B., and two-year LL.M. courses. B.A. LL.B. and LL.B. programs prepare students for professional legal careers, while the LL.M. is suited for specialization and academic advancement.

About Moot Court Society

Moot Court Society is a student-run committee in law, having its members constituting students of different courses under the mentorship and support of IQAC Cell, of the Career College of Law, Bhopal (M.P.). The objective of the society is conduct national moot court competitions to indulge students of law and to promote the profession of law giving opportunity to showcase their knowledge and experience while competing.

About the Opportunity

Career College of Law, Bhopal is pleased to announce the 2nd Fali S. Nariman National Moot Court Competition, 2026. The competition aims to provide a national platform for law students to develop advocacy, legal research, and analytical skills through simulated court proceedings.

The event is organized by the Moot Court Society of Career College of Law with the objective of promoting practical legal education and nurturing the next generation of legal professionals. The competition will bring together students from various law schools across India to engage in rigorous legal argumentation and courtroom advocacy.

The competition will be held from 7th May to 9th May 2026 in offline mode at Career College of Law, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility

Students pursuing BA LL.B., BBA LL.B., B.Com LL.B., B.Sc LL.B., LL.B., or LL.M. from any recognized university or law school are eligible to participate.

Each team shall consist of three members:

  • Two Speakers
  • One Researcher
  • Teams may also consist of two members, where one member will perform the role of researcher.
  • Maximum two teams from the same institution are allowed.

Registration Fees

  • ₹5,000 – With Accommodation
  • ₹3,000 – Without Accommodation
  • Accommodation will be provided from 7 May to 9 May 2026 for participants who opt for it during registration.

Registration Process

Teams willing to participate in the “2nd Fali S. Nariman National Moot Court Competition, 2026” are required to register by duly submitting a Google form on or before 11st April 2026, 11:59 PM IST.

b. This shall be considered as final registration of the participating institution. Accordingly, each participating team shall be provided with a team code.

c. All the registered teams will have to send the soft copy of their memorials (on behalf of both the Petitioner and Respondent) by 18th April 2026, 11:59 PM IST via mail: [email protected]

d. The 20 teams, will be permitted to proceed with the advanced rounds.

e. Teams registering shall have to deposit a participating fee of Rs. 5,000/- who desire to opt for accommodation, and Rs. 3,000/- without accommodation.

f. In case of forfeiture by one or more teams, the subsequent waitlisted team(s) will be informed and allowed to complete their registration after the submission of the fee within a stipulated time allocated to them in this regard.

  • Winning Team: ₹18,000
  • Runner-Up Team: ₹8,000
  • Best Memorial: ₹2,000
  • Best Speaker: ₹2,000
  • Best Researcher: ₹2,000
