About NLUO

National Law University Odisha (NLUO) was established in the year 2008 by the Odisha government with a vision to develop as a Centre of Excellence in Legal Education, to emerge as a place of professional learning, and to further nurture the idea of “serviceability” to the people to carry forward the social justice mission of legal education. In furtherance of the same, the Legal Aid Society of NLU Odisha was established in the year 2012 with a mission to implement the mandate of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987.

About SMC

The Social Media Committee of National Law University, Odisha is a unique student-run committee that is constituted yearly under the guidance of the faculty advisors of the University. Starting from capturing the events of the University in photographs and videos, to managing the various social media accounts and showcasing life at the University and organizing photography competitions, the committee is actively involved in all the minor and major events of the University.

The committee provides an excellent opportunity for students in order to display their skills in photography, videography, designing, video and image editing, writing, networking and a plethora of other talents.

About The Competition

The NLUO Social Media Committee is honoured and delighted to extend an invitation to you to participate 2nd Edition of the Campus Photography Competition.

The competition aims to encourage all to showcase their photography skills while capturing the essence of campus life. The event will provide a creative platform for all to capture their campus life and their experiences on campus.  

The details of the competition are as follows:

• Dates for Submission : 6th -9th March, 2025
• Prizes : 1st  Prize – Rs. 3000, 2nd Prize – Rs. 2000 and 3rd Prize – Rs. 1000
• Registration fees: INR 100 for NLUO members, INR 250 for non-NLUO members
• Theme : Campus Life

Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry with one photograph of their choice.

All payments have to be made using UPI and receipt of the payments is to be uploaded to the registration form.

How To Apply?

• All payments have to be made via UPI using the QR code attached to the form.
• After successful online payment of fee, the participant has to fill out the online Application Form by clicking on this link.
• Upload the fee receipt at the respective column therein, and finally submit the form online.

The winning entries will be awarded with cash prizes and all participants will be awarded with an e-certificate. The winning photographs will also be showcased on our official social media platforms and the University website with due credit.

SMC will retain the right to use the pictures as and when required.
