The conference is being organized in collaboration with the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), a premier institution dedicated to the study, research, and promotion of international law in India.
About the Opportunity
VIT-AP School of Law, in collaboration with the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), is organizing a Two-Day International Conference on “Private International Law in the Era of New Emerging Technologies: Issues, Challenges and the Way Forward” on 24th–25th April 2026 in Hybrid Mode.
The conference invites original and unpublished research papers from academicians, professionals, practitioners, research scholars, and students on contemporary issues in Private International Law in the context of emerging technologies.
About the Journal
This is a conference-based Call for Papers. Selected papers:
- May be published in an edited book by a reputed publisher (Taylor & Francis/Thomson Reuters) with ISBN; or
- The Best 20 papers may be published in a SCOPUS-indexed journal (as per MoU, with additional payment).
- Publication will be subject to peer review and publisher policies.
About Call for Papers
The conference aims to deliberate upon the evolving challenges of Private International Law in the era of emerging technologies such as AI, digital platforms, cross-border data flows, e-commerce, cyber disputes, and related regulatory complexities.
Participants are encouraged to explore doctrinal, comparative, policy-oriented, and interdisciplinary perspectives within the broad theme of the conference.

(Sub-themes may include cross-border digital disputes, jurisdictional challenges, data protection, AI governance, cyber law conflicts, e-commerce regulations, and related areas.)
Submission Categories
Abstract Submission
- Maximum 250 words (inclusive of 4–5 keywords)
- Must include a brief bio-note (60 words) mentioning email ID, contact number, designation, and official address
- PDF format only
- Full Paper Submission (after acceptance)
- 3000–5000 words (excluding footnotes)
- To be submitted in MS Word format
Formatting Guidelines
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Citation Style: APA (7th Edition) for references and Bluebook (21st Edition) for footnotes
- Language: English only
- The final paper must include suggestions/recommendations.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions must be original and unpublished.
- All papers will undergo similarity checks through approved software.
- Papers exceeding 10% similarity and AI content above 5% shall be rejected.
- Papers will undergo a blind peer review process.
- Selection for presentation does not guarantee publication.
