The Faculty of Law provides Graduate Programs like B.A.LL.B, B.B.A.LL.B (Integrated 5 years) and LL.B (3 years). We provide Postgraduate courses like LLM (1 year) and (2 years) and Ph.D. as well.
The Cultural & Literary Society aims to facilitate students’ attention, Participation, and accountability by furnishing social, Cultural, and recreational activities for the College Congregation. Society strives to nurture a devotion to language, Enhance erudite aptitude, and provide a route for self-expression beyond the scholastic curriculum.

Critiquing books is not just a competition; it’s a conversation where every review adds a stroke to the ever-evolving Portrait of literature. To celebrate the richness of literature through the Book Review Competition.
The Cultural and Literary Society, Faculty of Law, IntegralUniversity, Lucknow is organizing the Ist National Book Review Competition.
This Competition aims to promote literary engagement, critical thinking, and constructive discourse among readers nationwide. By encouraging participants to delve into the intricacies of diverse literary works, the competition seeks to foster a culture of thoughtful analysis and appreciation for literature.
Eligibility
This competition is open for undergraduate, and postgraduate students and research scholars, studying in any recognized School/College/Department of the University.
Themes
The review will encompass books that are based on any of the following themes:
- Voices Unheard: Stories of Empowerment from Women and Vulnerable Communities in the 75th Republic Day Era.
- Breaking Barriers: Celebrating Women’s Journeys in the75th Republic Day Perspective.
- A Gendered and Political Analysis of Refugee Women and Their Human Rights in India.
Submission Guidelines
- Word limit- 1500 to 2000 words.
- · It will be in the form of a Research Paper where there should be detailed and thorough research.
- · On the first page there should be the Name, Author, and Publications of the Book.
- · Font- Times New Roman for Text and Citations, Font Size[1]14 (Heading), 12 (Text Size), and 10 (Footnotes), Heading must be Bold and Justified, Spacing- 1.5 in text and 1 in Citations, Citation Type- BLUEBOOK, 20th Edition only and Font Text and Citations must be justified.
- · Plagiarism limit- 15 percent and will be rejected if it is more than the requisite limit.
- · The document must be submitted in MS Word format, not in PDF format.
Prizes
The prize will be distributed on 3rd February 2024 in Central Auditorium, Integral University.
- Winner: Prize of Rs.1000 +Medal+ Certificate of Appreciation
- Ist Runner up: Prize of Rs.700 + Medal + Certificate of Appreciation
- IInd Runner up: Medal + Certificate of Appreciation
(All participants shall receive e-certificates of participation.)
Important Dates
- Last date of registration– 20thJanuray, 2024
- The last date to submit the review is 25th January 2024 at 10:00 AM.
- The result of the competition will be declared on 26th January 2024 on Instagram page (@culturalsociety_iul).

- Registration fees Single author: Rs.250
- Co-author: Rs.300
- Co-authorship is allowed but is limited to two.
