About the Opportunity

The 1st All India Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Moot Court Competition, 2026 (ADGMCC’26) is an offline national-level moot court competition scheduled for 28th–29th April 2026. The competition provides a professional platform for law students to showcase their advocacy, research, drafting, and oratory skills.

Simulating real courtroom proceedings, it enhances critical thinking, legal analysis, and practical understanding of legal complexities, helping participants strengthen their mooting proficiency.

Theme

“Deepfake Technology and Cyber Crime”

The competition focuses on emerging legal challenges related to artificial intelligence, digital identity misuse, cyber offences, and regulatory frameworks in the modern technological landscape.

Eligibility

Open to law students enrolled in:

• 3-year LL.B. programs
• 5-year integrated law programs
• Participants must be from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Each team shall consist of 3 members:
• 2 Speakers
• 1 Researcher
• There is no restriction on the number of teams from one institution.

Registration Fee

₹3,000 per team

Payment must be completed on or before 14th April 2026

• Winner: ₹25,000
• Runner-Up: ₹15,000
• Second Runner-Up: ₹10,000
• Best Mooter: ₹10,000
• Best Researcher: ₹10,000
• Best Memorial: ₹5,000
