About the Opportunity

The XIth National Client Consultation Competition, 2026 is a national-level competition aimed at  developing practical lawyering skills among law students. The competition simulates a real-life lawyer– client consultation, where participants interview and counsel a client, analyse legal issues, and suggest  possible courses of action. It focuses on enhancing skills such as client interviewing, counselling,  analytical reasoning, ethical decision-making, and teamwork, which are essential for effective legal  practice.

Eligibility

  • Bonafide students pursuing 3-Year or 5-Year LL.B. programmes from any recognised  institution
  • Team Composition: 2 participants per team
  • Institutional Cap: Maximum 3 teams per institution
  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis
