Brief Profile of National Law University, Cuttack, Odisha
The objective of the university is to design and implement regular courses of study for the dissemination of knowledge, advanced learning in legal subjects, and other related disciplines in order to meaningfully integrate, support, and enhance professional knowledge of law, as well as to appreciate the role of rule of law in national growth and development.
In addition, it aims to foster in students and scholars the social and scientific research skills necessary for fostering a sense of responsibility to serve society as devoted advocates, as well as skills related to the legal profession.
The college also focuses on advancing professional education in convergence with knowledge of other related disciplines in order to provide adequate orientation and training, as well as facilities for continuing education, to law teachers, judicial officers, advocates, and other civil society members engaged in or interested in the administration of justice.
