Brief profile of L.M.S. Law College
L.M.S. Law College was established on the 7th day of August, 1958 as a Private College. The College was converted into a full – fledged government Law college from 1st April, 1981. The College has been imparting legal education to the students of Manipur and other states from the North Eastern region.
To meet the emerging needs of the students in their pursuit for higher legal studies in Manipur, LL.M. Classes have accordingly been opened in the College from the academic year, 1996-97.
The College is situated at Dewlahland, Chingmeirong, Imphal by the eastern side of National Highway No.2(New)/39(Old). The college has picturesque surroundings, serene atmosphere and a congenial environment for study. It is about 2 km. Away from Kangla, the heart of Imphal City.
