A brief profile of Jagran School of Law, Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun
The Jagran School of Law was established in 2013 in the city of Dehradun which is an educational hub of Northern India. It is steadfast in virtually redefining legal education in Dehradun with a focus on “Creating Law Professionals” to be absorbed in the global market. The school believes in producing law experts.
The Jagran School of Law is a new initiative of the Shri Puranchandra Gupta Smarak Trust, Kanpur, which is deeply rooted in the culture of academic excellence. The trust was established in 1987 in memory of the late Shri Puran Chandra Gupta, the founder of Dainik Jagran newspaper. His Holiness Late Shri Swami Ram, Spiritual Head of the trust emphasized establishing the best possible education synthesizing the Indian Culture, heritage and traditions with modern education technology.
JSL is an educational initiative of Jagran Group which also publishes “Dainik Jagran Newspaper”. JSL is the only Law School in Uttarakhand which has Civil Construction i.e. Classrooms, Library, Computer lab, Moot Court, etc. exactly as per mandates of the Bar Council of India. The School envisions a robust, vibrant and holistic education that stimulates excellence in every undertaking of our students. We are committed to providing quality education to promote intellectual, social and cultural vivacity among our learners.
