Govt. (P.G.) College Datia is an autonomous institution under the governance of M.P. Govt. Higher education was started is 1958. The institution got its PG standard in 1979-80 autonomy in 1995-96 and status leading college of District in 1999. It is also affiliated by UGC (Act 2 F and 12 B) getting UGC aid at different levels .NAAC graded this college as ‘B’ in 2006 and self-study report is being submitted for review of the grade. This college is located in 10 acres having its hostel in 3 Acres.
This is a leading college of Datia District hawing the facility of arts, Science, Commerce and law. There are 84 sanction posts of academic & Non-academic staff. For the review of autonomy UGC team has inspected this college in March 2012. This college has its automated computerised library where the facility of enlisting is available.
