Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh College of Law aims at imparting such legal education whereby it disciples come out of the clear picture of the society in which they move. Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh College of Law was introduced as a faculty in 1946 as a part of Shri Shivaji College, Amravati.
The growth and progress resulted in the separation of law faculty into and independent law college from the Academic Year 1978-79 onwards this college is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and Re-Accredited by NAAC ‘B”, Today the college has independent building since 1996.
The college conducts the under graduate course of LLB. (Bachelor of Legum Laws) which is of 3 years duration having a intake capacity of 300 students & LL.B. 5 year duration having a intake capacity of 180 Seats and College is running two years post graduate Degree Course in Law. (LLM.) in the Five specialization with intake capacity of 25 students per subject.
