Brief Profile of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Law College, Badnapur, Jalna
With the opening of Dr. Ambedkar College of Law which started functioning from 15th June 1968, the People’s Education Society’s (Mumbai) has fulfilled the long cherished desire of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was a man of great vision, who has always felt within himself an urge for social reconstruction on the basis of Equality Social and economic justice and above all the establishment of the classless society.
As far back as 1927 at the time of Mahad Satyagrah he had proclaimed the views on these items of social justice and Equality enshrined in the Preamble of the Indian Constitution that had to be implemented into the scheme of life. He was convinced that education in general and legal education in particular would create the rights and essential dignity in individual human beings. Dr. Ambedkar College of Law has completed 50 years of its fruitful services in the spread of legal education in this region.
