Jamshedpur Co-operative College, Jamshedpur is situated on the bank of river Swarnarekha towards its south in Circuit House Area of East Singhbhum District of famous Jamshedpur town of Jharkhand. The famous Jubilee Park and Jamshedpur Zoological Park are situated towards its south east half km from the College.

Jamshedpur town is well connected to the capital town Ranchi through NH-33 road as well as Rail and is situated 130 kms towards south. The Tatanagar Railway Station is 7.1 km away from Jamshedpur Co-operative College, Jamshedpur towards south and the Tatanagar Railway Station is situated on main line and connected with several main cities of the Country.

The Law College was started in 2005 in the Jamshedpur Co-operative College, Jamshedpur campus carving out required area of land which shifted in its own building in 2013. The law department of this college has been upgraded as a college in itself and is presently functioning from a separate building in the campus of this college.

This is also a study centre of the Indira Gandhi National Open University which runs thirty three courses including such professional courses as Rural Development and Tourism. The teaching faculty is one of the best in the Kolhan University.

The teachers are actively engaged in research, innovation of teaching methods, seminars, conferences and cultural exchanges.
