Central Waqf Council, a statutory body under Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, proposes to engage legal personnel purely on temporary and contractual basis under the “Quami Waqf Board Taraqqiati Scheme” a centrally sponsored scheme of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India.

Job Description

Central Waqf Council, a statutory body under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India, invite application for the Post of Legal Support Officer and Legal Assistant.

  1. Legal Support Officer: 1 (one)
  2. Legal Assistant: 1 (one)

Eligibility

Legal Support Officer

Age: Not exceeding 40 years as on 6th July 2020.

Essential

  1. Masters Degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized University.
  2. Ten years of experience in legal practice or office work regarding legal matters.

Desirable

  1. Knowledge of the Waqf Act and Working knowledge of Urdu/Hindi with the ability to do correspondence work independently.
  2. Computer literacy.

Legal Assistant

Age: Not exceeding 35 years as on 6th July 2020.

Essential

  1. Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized University.
  2. Five years of experience in legal practice or office work regarding legal matters.

Desirable

  1. Masters Degree in Law (LLM) from a recognized University.
  2. Knowledge of the Waqf Act and Working knowledge of Urdu/Hindi with the ability to do correspondence work independently.
  3. Computer literacy.
