Brief Profile of Lingraj Law College, Berhampur University, Berhampur, Odisha<\/h2>\n

When the Khallikote College Trust Management, which acts as a promoter of higher learning and knowledge in Southern Orissa, made the novel attempt in 1964 to open Post Graduate classes in Khallikote College, the foundation for the current institution, which is known as Lingaraj Law College, was laid.<\/p>\n

Along with Post-Graduate Departments, Law classes were also introduced and began in the Khallikote College with a Department of Law; affiliation for these programmes was granted by the Utkal University (Orissa).<\/p>\n

As a direct consequence of the founding of Berhampur University on January 2, 1967 in Berhampur (Ganjam), the law department at Khallikote College automatically became affiliated with Berhampur University.<\/p>\n
