Brief Profile of Lokmanya Tilak Law College, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune<\/h2>\n

With a vision to democratize the education,\u00a0Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV)\u00a0was established in 1921. TMV had formulated a long-term national education programme and implemented it successfully. It is known at national level for its unique identity for its realization of imparting education and igniting national sentiments among the youth during the pre-independence era. At present the university offers various courses at UG, PG and research level<\/p>\n

The university also provides various UG & PG courses under the\u00a0Directorate of Distance Education.\u00a0In recognition of its contribution in the field of Education, TMV was awarded the status of \u201cDeemed to be University\u201d by the Government in 1987. Several eminent personalities, from Mahatma Gandhi to Shri Pranab Mukherjee have appreciated the uniqueness, culture and research work of the university.<\/p>\n
