Kolkata Police Law Institute (KPLI)\u00a0since its inception on 19 August, 2016, inaugurated by the Hon\u2019ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, has been aiming to grow as a Centre of Excellence in its field emphasizing on \u2018Advancement of Legal Learning\u2019 under the able chairmanship of the Ld. Commissioner of Police, Kolkata.<\/p>\n

Kolkata Police Law Institute is one of its kind in the country, as it offers quality legal education in terms of 5-Year BA LLB course after 10+2, primarily for the wards of serving and retired personnel of both Kolkata Police and West Bengal Police, 3-Year LLB course exclusively for in-service police personnel of Kolkata Police, West Bengal Police and other government organizations. It is happy to note that 2-Year LLM course, affiliated to the University of Calcutta has been introduced at KPLI preferably for in-service personnel of Kolkata and West Bengal Police.<\/p>\n
