Kishori Lal Shukla Law College, Rajanandgaon was established in 1959 as a department of law with only 20 students in Digvijay College whose first honorary principal was Pt. Kishorilal Shukla Nandgaon Shiksha Mandal, registered in 1956 is the foundation society of the college.<\/p>\n<p>In the session 1967-68, the society took a major decision regarding the conversion of the department of law into an independent full fledged law college, complying the instructions of BCI.<\/p>\n<p>Initially affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University Raipur, Pt. Kishorilal Shukla Vidhi Mahavidyalaya, came into existence with its own building and fully equipped library. At present, the college accordingly has its own double storey building with open ground and garden. Now, it is affiliated to Hemchand Yadav University, Durg (C.G.).<\/p>\n<p>Pt. Kishori Lal Shukla Law College, Rajanandgaon at present is still run by Nandgaon Shiksha Mandal, chaired by well known Educationist, Shri Girish Shukla and as per provisions of statute no.28, the Governing Body of the college has been constituted.
